I have this piece. It is made with black lip Mother of Pearl. It is more stunning than it appears in the picture. It came to me with a sterling silver snake chain, substantial in size and sturdiness. I (and the countless people who have admired it in the last week) give this necklace a two thumbs up! Wear it to work; wear it to dinner; this pendant is a bona fide transitional piece.
