When I was pregnant with my daughter, I had read every breastfeeding book under the sun. I thought I was prepared when she came—I was not. I would have definitely been more prepared – and probably more successful had I seen mothers and babies breastfeeding first hand. It was great to find that I was not alone in my struggles throughout the beginning phases of breastfeeding.
The moms in the video share their stories and I was relieved to find that some of them shared my own frustrations, as well as joys while nursing. Watching the video a couple of times really helped fill the information void I had carried since I stopped nursing my daughter. I will be watching this video over and over next time. It was very encouraging and I recommend it to all moms interested in learning more about the how-to’s and health facts in breastfeeding.

Meghan O'Hara has more than a decade of experience as a producer - working for HBO, CourtTV, The Independent Film Channel and Nickelodeon. Recently, she was a field producer on Michael Moore's feature-film Fahrenheit 9/11, winner of the Palme d'Or at the 2004 Cannes Film Festival. She was also a field producer on Moore's Oscar-winning documentary, Bowling for Columbine.
Katie Fogarty has worked in television with New York 1 News and CNNfn, and has a master's degree in broadcast journalism. Ms. O'Hara and Ms. Fogarty are both mothers of two spirited toddlers.
