About the most important item in your make-up bag is your mascara. A good mascara can make it look as if we were born with long, beautiful lashes. Here is a very simple method of applying mascara for every day wear.
-Draw wand out of mascara tube and remove access (I scrape the brush along the top of the tube).
-Hold wand horizontally and lightly brush lashes without clumping (try to avoid the roots of your lashes altogether as too much mascara at the roots will weigh them down). Wait a couple of minutes for this first coat to dry completely.
-Apply second coat; to set curl, hold the wand and lashes together at the tips for a several seconds.
-Apply mascara carefully to the bottom lashes, holding wand vertically.

Another tip for entending the look of your eyelashes is not to use a thick eyeliner above the eye. Eyeliner is great for making your eyes pop, however, it is also a great way to shorten the look of your lashes. Wear a light shade on your lids for day wear, and if you must at night, wear a super thin line just over the lashes.
If you are going out and want to really stand out like a celebrity, you can always go with the false lashes.
